I am a large 6'0" man that weighs in at 290lb. Yes, I know I'm overweight but life's funny that way. I'm working on it. Is the 329cc engine and the single rear shock on the Rancher 4x4 ES enough for my size? It looks like the exact utility ATV for me in all other areas.

The Rancher won't have any problem hauling your weight, and the suspension is fine (I'm 185 lbs). While the exterior dimensions of the Rancher are smaller than most bikes (this is a VERY GOOD thing, especially for a trail rider!!), if you look at the cockpit size, it really isn't significantly smaller. Lots of my six foot buddies fit Ranchers fine.

See my post on weight loss, in the "Other ATV Topics" section. The Rancher did fine even when I weighed 220.

I wouldn't worry about it, but keep in mind you shouldn't load down the racks as much as a 180# guy could. Other than that, the Rancher really doesn't have any shortcomings as a utility machine compared to anything else, unless you want to go fast.
