I have a '97 Honda Foreman which I have used extensively to plow snow with. I currently have a manual lift system, but would like to convert to a winch. I have several questions regarding this:
1. Which winch would you recommend?
2. Any experience with how much clearance the blade will have on a Foreman in the up position?
3. Is installation best left to a shop?
4. I assume that the lift switch is mounted on the left handlebar. Any interference with the reverse mechanism?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Greg

Beeg's How old is your plow system? I just bought a new cycle country system ,and it is totally re-designed and lifts totally different than my 1999 plow system. First off I have a warn winch on my "01" Rancher 4x4 and tried it for my plow , WAY too Slow!!!!! Second thing is it is confusing to use if you have ES shift. Too much to do with left hand. May work for you.Try it
