I agree the 500 Cat is strong to pull but my buddy has one and you are always waiting on him I think he tops out at about 45.

 

Oh! I did not know that. I did like the bike & I DO NOT like the Polaris. I would go for the Suzuki then! If he was looking for speed, then the Prairie 650 is what we should be recommending.

The KAWI P650 is the most sport in a Utility quad bar none!!! IT has the greatest power to weight ratio of em all. It weighs 604lbs dry but feels ALOT lighter because of the arm ripping power and INSTANT throttle response!!! It jumps catwalks slides etc. The Grizz and POL 700 are IRS and thus a bit more of a handfull on turns with speed. The 500 HO does not come close to the P650...I have dragged one several times in both 4 and 2 wd and i always won convincingly. I have dragged a banshee,raptor and the new Z400 and lost to them all...but not by as much as one would think. I could hook-up on loose gravel better than they could. To lose to a Banshee or Raptor by only 20-25 ft over a 400-500ft race isn't bad. A few simple mods and the P650 is right there with the race quads in drags ( at least on loose gravel and sand ) So if you want the quickest most powerfull 4X4 go with the KAWI...The SUZUKI VINSON is also a very sporty rig.
