True front lock

HI GUY'S;
The Kawi P650 and P360 have in my opinion the best front locker on the market. The lever is effortless to pull and hold ( One finger operation ). The steering is not difficult as one Rag said it was. It's on the fly , so any obstacles you may encounter on the trail are easily delt with. The Polaris 700 for example needs it's rear wheels to spin for it's locker to engage (Not very desireable on a steep incline with some rocks or locks to climb). The Gizz 660 has a push button system, but it's not on the fly ( Thus stopping to engage...sometimes big trouble if you are already half stuck). Also the Grizz can only spin the wheels 22 (or so)mph's when in lock mode. Drive up to a mud hole on the P650, pull the lever with your finger and pin the throttle for LIFT-OFF BABY!!!

The Prairie 650 setup was the reason why I bought it and not a Grizz. I like the grizz too, its a good bike. But I don't want to haft to stop and hold the little button in. This way you can hit a mudhole as fast as you want and when its starts to slow I pull the lever in and man what a difference. Theres no comparison between the 4wd and 3wd. I was going to buy a Polaris till I was hill climbing with my buddies, I do not like the way they lock in all at once, it was sorta scary climbing hardpack hills. I was flying up some pretty steep hills in 2wd, when I tried 4wd it would jerk side to side which ever way it got traction, pretty scary as steep as it was. Which ever you get-good luck!

SUZUKI was the first to offer a locking ft. diff for true 4wd in a quad. That was way back in 87. For so many years the KING QUAD was the only true 4wd quad you could buy. Finally the other manufacturers followed SUZUKI's lead. The KING QUAD has a foolproof cable actuated locker. Once engaged it stays engaged until the driver disengages it. No quirckiness to it.

CanadianViking,just a small correction,the Trax-Lock is Honda's limited slip front end, the Bombardier runs a Visco-Loc,which works real well,is totally automatic,torque bias operated,locks both front wheels together,and no fingers to engage it (nothing personal, P650 fans). Hey,but really,whatever gets you out of the mud !!!!
