I just received and filled out a survey from Honda on my new Rincon. There were questions addressing, brakes, hi-low range, better engine breaking, locker, speed, along with a number of other items that have been talked about on this forum. I was very critical on the things that I would like improved on this machine, I hope the majority out there who also fill out this questionaire do the same. Don't get me wrong I love my ride, just looking to improve some of the little things.

I've already informed the wife that if they did make those changes we would have another one in the Garage.

The Rincon wasn't heavily modified.

Those are the facts, and that's not coming from a forum member, it's true and reliable!!!

If you don't know the facts, and are reling on others, you should re-think what you're doing!

Your last post had no information what so ever, not sure what thats supposed to prove.
I referenced 3TV's post because he used to be into that type of event personally, and he has always been an honest and informed member.
A new Rincon would be great, much nicer then my 2000 Sportsman 500, newer and no scratches to boot[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Yes the rincon was modded with stuff you can't buy,just check out atvnews.com,and it will only hit 70mph hah!honda has never sold what they race because they got a fortune it that thing,another "over engineered,over priced,over hyped pile of slow honda crap".....rather be dead than ride red.RINCON WATCHES TO MUCH ATV TV.

When you compare a do anything Monster like the 700 Sportsman to a cute little toy like the Rincon, you're going to have easy jokes that go on for a long, long time.

I am in the same position of which one to buy. I am planning to purchase a machine this week and still have some resevations on the Honda (because of power) and the polaris because of the belt drive. Looking for some answers.

 

I sold my Polaris Sportsman 500 HO for the Rincon. If you're worried about the power, don't. The little bit that everyone keeps hammering about isn't really that significant. Yea side by side this one will smoke that one, but by seat of the pants comparison the Rincon has plenty of power. Usually the ones bragging about how much faster their atv is than everyone elses are suffering freom a Napolean complex, and I don't mean just how tall they are. The Polaris Sportsman is a fine machine as is the Rincon. Don't worry so much about what others think are the best.


Ride what you like and like what you ride!
