what does everyone think of the three new bombardier outlanders?
It seems kind of dumb to just put a smaller piston or something like that and not lighten it up abit.
I think they should have not used the independint suspension on the two wheel drive models.
check them all out on the bombardier website.

well it adds lots of weight the 2x4 weighs 550 lbs. adds body roll. but you get ground clearence but my thinking is that in a two wheel drive the only thing it is good for is going over loggs and rocks. I dont think it would help that much in the mud unless you have enough speed.

It shouldn't make a differnce. If one side has the ability to move without the other getting off the ground it will lean into the turns. trucks with semi independent (solid axle) rear get boat like in the turns the only thing that would help would be stiff suspension , sway bar or a standard rear straight axle only able to move both tires up and down at the same time.
