Default Griz Maitenance?

What oil and filter should I use I just bought a fram ph6017a I remember seeing some where that the 500 sportsman is the same as the 660 griz for filter is this true Also how many grease zurks are there on the griz and what kind of grease should I use I have some mobil 1 syn. grease is that good enuff. Thanks Ryan
How much oil is needed in the Griz.

Default Griz Maitenance?

Hi I have a Sportsman 500 and a Grizzly both are 2003 I bought oil filters for both on E-Bay they were both the same part numbers. As far as workin on the Grizzly on E-Bay for around $8.00 you can get the service manual on CD Check it out Chuck

you can go to your dealer and find out anything you need about your quad. thats what i did.

Default Griz Maitenance?

There are 4 zerks on the back hubs (or whatever) and then 2 on the front driveshaft. Thats all I know of. The driveshaft zerks are a pain in the butt, at least the one by the engine is.

I put that stupid Yamalube semi-synthetic in there this time. Crap was $7.50 a quart, but I figured what the heck, seeing as I don't have to change it that much.
