Desert Racing?? How did you do at that? I only raced in the desert a few times...you got to race desert in the day of the smoke bomb start huh? Just like in On Any Sunday..

Yep did allot of Hare & Hound desert racing back then, Barstow to Vegas, Baker to Vegas, some desert racing around Vegas Cali-Nevada border. This was B-4 environmentalist made the decision the desert eco system needed to be protected...

YES; it was very cool to line up 200 bikes wide do a Lemans style start and race for the black cloud in the sky. The race course started at the tire fire.
It's not like that ANYMORE. Most desert racing is done at a designated race area, I guess if that's how it can survive, SO BE IT..........
