Default 69 honda minitrail help

hi, i have a 1969 honda minitrail and cant get it to stay running, when it did start as soon as i hit the throttle it died and it hasn't started since, when i checked the spark plug the spark is purple, i've heard that blue is correct and purple is weak, I know its not much information to go on but any info is appreciated

Did you try cleaning the carb? The jets in this are very small and even the littlest bit of dirt can clog them causing what you described

I would start with a new set of points and a condenser. I would also take apart and clean the carb.
