I wasn't aware Allis Chalmers farm co. offered these (I know they didn't make them themselves)...; 1972 Allis Chalmers Terra Tiger 6X6 $750 - Nex-Tech Classifieds Needs work obviously, still cheaper than a new Argo.

 

OK, how were these things not a huge hit. I want one now despite the cheesy degraded 70's video and department store music, lol

I wonder if they offered a mounting kit like Argo does to mount an outboard motor on the back so you aren't stuck chugging along at 5mph in the water? Imagine what it could do with the mud tires of today instead of those mini paddle-like floaters.

 

They caught on but Allis Chalmers and many others dropped out . Like sleds their were many now there are only 4.

My friend had a old 70s 6x6 Agro with the same drivetrain CVT with two long chains on each side to the wheels.
Argos are the only ones left today but are higher tech now.

Here is one of their old ads from the 70s. No difference except Argos had two headlights.
