Default North Texas Riding

It seems like Oklahoma is the only one keeping up with the times as for good riding areas. OCCRA has held races a several new places this year but that may be too far for some to drive. I'm about as far North as you can go in Texas before crossing the river.

Lake Murray is good, about 1,000 acres now that they've chopped it up. Showers and bathrooms though so that's a bonus. $7 a day.

Bulcher, much more land I think 2,500 acres. No bathrooms so to speak, bear in the woods comes to mind. $8 a day

Rocky Ridge, small 5-600 acres. I'm bored in about 1 hour since ive been there so many times. Never see any improvements for all the money they make on admission. $8-10 a day?

Sandhill ATV Park in Wynnewood, ok. Looks to be good but have not been there yet, going to try this weekend. $5 a day.

Nocona MX is a nice quad track. $10 a day. Good maintenance and seperate peewee track. www.noconamx.com

If you feel like driving into OK, www.occra.com has a list of all the places they race at with a brief description of the areas. Plus now that the XC season is almost over there are lots of pics of the places too from the races.
