place to ride in eastern PA for Odyssey
#1
A friend of mine has a Honda Odyssey and wants to know where he can ride in Eastern PA. So far the only track that accepts them is NJORVP in New Jersey but it costs $70/day to ride there. Can anyone provide some insight on this. Directions are helpful seeing that we live in RI.

You might want to check out Jack Frost Mountain. I understand there is a pay to ride place there. I haven't been yet but based on the website I looked at, it looks alot bigger than NJORVP. That's near the Pocono Raceway. In that general area are 2 or 3 free places to trail ride on state land set aside for ATV use. These I did visit and didn't enjoy very much. VVVVVeeeerrrryyyy rrrrrooooccccckkkkyyyyy.....
Near I-81 in Hazelton is a place called Paragon Adventure Park. I haven't been there but have heard good things from some folks who have.
You can find them by searching for "Jack Frost Mountain" and "Paragon Adventure Park"
The free places are listed on the Pennsylvania DCNR website, a very good link if you are looking for other free places to ride throughout PA.
A word of caution about NJ. Currently there is no legal place to ride an ATV on any state property. That's the pines, the state forrests, the state game lands, everything! Its not like some people don't do it, but they are takking an expensive risk. The state EPA started a major crackdown last year and sent the forrestry workers out to impound lots of quads and hand out lots of $1000 fines...
