Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Well it is Sunday and we are home from a very NICE weekend of camping and riding. As I see on here the subject hopefully has cooled down on all the response of "Camping in Easton". we ended up staying at the Ranch with our friends. They found us a spot big enough for them and it worked out fine. They are horse lovers (they own one) and enjoyed the quad riding so much they are now thinking of one day getting into it also. As I stated I hope all is well now on this thread and hopefully will take off again on all the daily interests and subjects it always has. I hope there are no hard feelings with anybody. Some of you have PM'ed us and I appreciate the understanding and support of this group... so.............. END of the EASTON CAMPING SAGA............ Final Chapter!!!!!!!!

Joel just got a letter from the state, says he has to be fingerprinted and background checked to keep his hazmat endorsement.....a process that will cost him an additional $100 (approximately they wrote).........part of the homeland security.....thought I'd share since it was mentioned!

Racergirl, have you folks figured out for sure when this is to take place? I, too got the letter (I drive fuel tanker) and nobody in our office reads it the same way. The way I got it figgered, I don't have to do it until 90 days before my license comes due (I just redid mine last month). The boss-man says everybody goes, right now, and pays the 100 bones, which highly upsets us. I would hate to have to give Uncle Sam any money before its due.

Horse lovers, huh? Well my wife and oldest daughter are horse lovers, too, and I've been working on them for many years to get away from "The dark side" into ATV's, and not too successful. I've darn near considered an "intervention"! Good luck switching your friends over!

Good morning Larry! It's time for me to paddle up the quads (all four) to get ready for Sandlake!Did you get what you needed for the Rappy?
I only have mine to paddle up, can't afford paddles for Vals V Force, I need more bling bling for the Rappy hehehe. Rewired headlights, oil and filter changed, kerosened chain, valve adjustment, took all skids off, air filter cleaned and oiled, (along with the V) then paddles on and load up Larry
Oh yeah, I forgot one thing, replaced the thumb throttle from that 8.5 backflip on JRL Hill at Easton

Raptorchick, thanks for hooking me up with the replacement, I think sometime in the future I'll switch to the Honda throttle

I'm with ya, bud. This whole hazmat truck-driving thang is getting to be a joke, anyway. We pay for, and take all kinds of Hazmat training and licensing, are scrutinized by everybody, yelled at daily 'cuz the cost of fuel is so high, then take home less bling than ice-truck drivers. Sad.

Don't worry, Larry, as you've already seen, I can't see my hand in front of my face! As far as your bootay hangin' out, I'd just mistake it for a fat guy grinning with a wad of chew in his cheek!

Now that you've become official, it's time to think about posting some pictures on your gallery, I'll give you a couple of days before I start harassing you hehehe.
