I'm sure Rod will help me rejet if necessary, as long as he beats me it's back to the campsite for bigger jets and more air intake, or I could just let the air out of his tires hehehe

Hey Mark,
As far as the spots in the back where we usually stay. We checked with the office on Friday when we got there and nothing had been reserved in that entire area for Labor Day so we reserved all of that area. I need to know who is going over on Labor Day so I can call them back well in advance to let them know how many sites we will need. I sure did like the site we had this weekend. If I go back solo, Ill be taking some coax so that I can watch TV. There are 8 ( i think) sites with Cable TV. Cool huh? Plus some with trailer dumps at the site. I also talked to Bud about who some of the other riders got up on the hills on the other side of the freeway. The hills that we saw the 4 riders on at night the last time we had a group ride. He said that you would have to go in on Cabin Creek road. Im personally not familiar with that area so I dont know for sure how its accessed. But it does sound like there is legal riding up there. Berta and I did some scouting out in other areas. This could be some of the areas some of you night riders had chacked out before. But we were able to find a few trails that went up high that had some lookouts that looked right down on the large lake. I can never remember if that is katchalaas or kachese. But its the large lake near Easton.

I was just wondering if they are Honda pattern. I have a spare set of paddles, but I don't think they would fit that unit.

Rod I just propped my air box lid open with the rear fasteners. Went to a bigger main and turned the air screw out half a turn. WOW

A local guy was telling me how their group has already reserved the group spot in the back left. (imagine that)
Quite a coincidence,,,looks like there will be quite a few bikes up there that weekend too.

Count me in for one site....
Cabin creek is private land and have to have permission to ride on...I did however talk to the owner and he told me the areas that could be ridden and asked that we not tear it up and/or make any new trails or roads. I told him that we would just be interested in seeing the sights and riding respectfully. The only downfall was that it is almost impossible to get there without trailering the quads there without beaking the rules of the road. I know that the police dont inforce the "law" of riding on the roads for the locals but I think its important that we dont become the lead story on the front page of Mondays ( or Tuesday in this case) newspaper. For a few of us that did this with the advice of the locals before this is a change of heart due to fear of being caught and paying the fine anyhow I will be there Labor Day if you wish to see the other areas I am speaking of...be ready to go
