It was worth the trip to me, this place is the kind of riding i grew up on "wide open desert trails" with dunes thrown in for fun!!!!!

The Oregon dunes are an adventure in them self, there is no comparing the two places.

To answer your question; you'd have to go out there to get your own answer.......Jim

Me and some firends are going to St. Maries (Christmass Hills) in Idaho this weekend. We will get there saturday and ride till about dusk, then set up a bon fire and have some beers before we go to sleep to ride on sunday. If anyone is interested drop an email to the_first_agent@yahoo.com since I don't check these forums much. Hope to see some of you guys out there! 'Carl

Jim,
Is the sand full of Mount St. Helens ash like the Moses Lake dunes are? Are there dunes that are good for jumping?
Fill me in.

OK, the neighborhood competition has begun....
The neighbor just bought "his wife" (so the story goes, she's never ridden before???) a new 400 ex.
So now in the true spirit of one-uppin, I gotta go get something bigger and badder. (especially since the other neighbor bought two pretty tricked out older Suzuki Z500's and 250 (or whatever they are).
I can't let them be faster than me, can I ?????????????????????????

I didn't see any responses from anybody going to Easton Oct 15 - 17......
Everybody bail and not going?
Campground all to ourselves, that'll be no fun............
