This ride being planned is just a group of people that are here on the thread, some you know, some you haven't met yet. The trails at Capital Forest are not extremely tight, there are a couple of bridges that are around 48" or 49", but most of the trails are wide enough for you. I think there are more tight trees to get through at Tahuya than Capital.
The planned route will be a long one, I figure 60 miles or so, that's why someone will have to carry the gas cans in their vehicle to Middle Wadell. I think most quads can run 60 miles one one tank, atleast the raptors can, but fuel should be at Wadell just in case. This place isn't like Walker Valley or like the area of rocks on the way to the wall at Reiter, it's actually a nice system of trails to ride.
The weekend of the 30th is the last riding days for the trail system for the season, it's closed from Oct 31 thru March or sometime around there.

you can camp at the wadell campground, it is very nice, and free. It works on a first come first serve bases, but that late in the year you should be of. The campground is right next to where we plan on stoping for lunch. If enough people decide to camp I might be talked into it too.

Thurston County ORV Park is on the other side of the mountains on Highway 8 about 9 miles south of McCleary. Middle Waddel is on the extreme eastern side of Capitol Forest, which is accessed via Highway 101. The group ride is heading out of Rock Candy and ending up at Middle Waddel, then riding back to Rock Candy. I don't have the website in front of me, will try in dig it up unless somebody else on here has fast access to it.

Do any of the Balster owners still have one for sale? I've gotta neighbor who is looking for one for his boys. He is also looking for a Banshee or 250r for sale, I'm trying to talk him into a 4-stroker but they will only be riding the dunes and used to have and love Banshee's.
