Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Well, I finally woke up, heck, I got home at 6:30pm and was in bed by 8:00pm, got out of bed at 6:30am I've never been out for that long, must have been the trail maintance.

A huge thanks to all 20 riders who made it out yesterday, everybody was great. Since the majority of PSAR were at the ride, no real need to explain every detail. Biggest problem on the trails, they were logging on the northwest side of North Rim #1, when the bigs winds came in the last couple of weeks, the remaining trees had no protection and blew over across the trail. We also rode B Line to catch North Rim #1 further west, hoping the trail was clear, but soon we came across another downed tree, another turn around. Headed back towards the staging area catching short trails along the way, we were able to ride the Rock Candy West Trail back to the staging area. At this point everybody had lunch and Rod, Cindy, Josh, Jolene and Raj had to head home.

The second ride was great, I'd never been on the trail we took towards Middle Waddel, got within 8 miles of Waddel, that was our turnaround point. Thanks to Quad4Fun and RidinLCWA for their map reading skills and getting us back to the staging area. Next time I ride Rock Candy, I'll stay away from the northwest side and stay on the southside heading towards Waddel.

Breakfast was a blast, alot of laughs, a good time to meet and get to know the newbies to PSAR. Special thanks to the Northenders for making the trip, I know it was a long haul for ya'll.

Mornin' PSAR
Good luck to all the racers today. Don't do any carnage.

Yesterday was a fun ride even with the downed trees. We rode each trail twice! Even changed leaders on the trails.

Quad4fun, you forgot about Raj, he had just bought Bing's Scrambler. It was his first ride on a 4 wheeler. He did good but did suffer the only bodily carnage, hitting a root and smashing his thumb. He is OK though.

And what luck is it that Marci lost he keys on the ride and they were found by Bill? Makes it easier when we all knew where she went head first down the hill, minus her quad. I was stnding on the bank to take her picture and she tried to run over me by riding up the bank. I guess the 400ex didn't like being ridden at a 45 degree angle. All I could hear after she was laying in the bushes was her laughing!

I'm going to start a photo album over on the msn side so everyone can ad to it.

Definately have to come down for a longer ride next time. I do like trailer pooling, it helps us all out with the price of gas.

Larry, bring a chainsaw next time.

Now it is time to set up for sand mode. I think I'll do that today.

Sean,
As I told you yesterday, the radios are Chatterbox FSR X2's. New, at a motorcycle dealer they are about $250.00 EACH.
I bought ours on Ebay for $280.00 for both.
This was the first time we've used them and it was a kick. I could tell Cindy was having fun because she was laughing so hard! As you heard, her favorite word to use while out riding it sh*t. That and lots of laughs and screams.

Jenna and I had a great time yesterday. It was nice to meet so many more from the group. Jenna and I had a great time ridin the loggin roads in the morning. It was a good thing we didn't try and ride the trails with everyone else, we wouldn't have got that far . The ride after lunch was great, Jenna finally got on the trails and had a great time. No problems for us, but Jennas wrist is still a bit sore.

And all this talk about Happa eating for free, I would too if someone would pay for me and he didn't even finish it all. Quad ate as much as he did, and he ate off of everyone elses plate as well

Sorry to the group that had to leave early, the ride towards Waddle was excellent.

Thanks for the great time, looking forward to the next ride.
