Sean,
Any luck hunting yet? I just wanted to let you know that this morning two 2 point bucks walked in front of my truck as I was going to the job site. If I was going any faster I would have hit them!
Nope. Passed up one halfway decent 2 pt, wanted my brother to get it. Passed up another smaller one and a couple spikes. I want their daddies, pretty picky at what I'll shoot this early. This season should be good because it looks like they are getting a little more anxious, more activity in the pre-rut than nomal this early and there necks are getting big.
Glad you saw those two deer, it's great just to see them. We had two beauties at work, on our back deck. A 4 pt and a 3 pt.
We'll see what I can spook up this coming week

A bottle of Crown Royal for sippin...$35.00

Gas for truck....$247.00

Deep Fried turkey on the dunes.....PRICELESS!

I like the trip idea too. My family will not be celebrating a traditional bird day anymore. We lost my step-dad two years ago t-day week, and last year my mom t-day week. WE are not going to sit at a table anymore and wonder what the hell we did wrong.

I'll bring the turkey cooker! and the oil! Bill

Somthin bout 500,000 ppl in a blowted, drunken state; all ridin/driven in different directions does nothin for me. Sorry Adam.

(here's an old man story) I can remember the last Thanksgiving i was at Glamis; there where 500 ppl no quads; just dune buggys, jeeps & dirtbikes ???? Yes it was the early 70's Now thats PRICELESS

OH man I'm thinkin the dunes sound like an AWESOME idea for Turkey day hmmmmm might have to talk to the family & see what they think of the idea!! I bet the inlaws would be all over the idea, not sure about my Mom/Dad though. I might be shunned if I go play & not cook dinner haha

Anyone going to early sign ups for MOnroe today @ LCB?????? We're gonna try the early thing out, we got our sponsor $$ yesterday well 1/2(get the rest in Dec) of it, they are doubling their contribution this year WHOOOOOHOOOOOO the kids will be able to run the FULL season & we may be able to buy a couple "goodies" for the quads So we're pretty stoked now!!

@ LCB today they will be having a detailing seminar, I'm not sure if it will be a quad one, I talked to Dave to have one of them for the members of HRCA but he didn't say if it was quad or bike!!

Bot this place shre was quiet yesterday......................................... ..........is everyone OK??

Early sign up seem to screw up. You get jerked around in Monroe the first 3 weeks because they are like, "That line, no this line no overthere, back out front,.........."

We don't sign up early anymore. It is slower the first week but I won't be there.
