Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

i had a blast & it was great seeing all of you today! i have to say that they are well organized, i've never seen a full day of racing go that quick & that was one of the best turnouts of quads i've seen at a MX event here in the NW so far!(60+ entries?) the track was fast & fun, those drop-in bermed corners were great!

Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Good Job at the races Joel, DJ and trevor! There was some bad crashes Saturday night. I hope that one guy will be ok that was on the zilla. His whole tire came off. Does anybody know if the hub came off too? I had fun, i saw some people there i haven't seen in a long time. It was so cold there!!! When i left and got into my truck i had the heat on high all the way home and then when i got home i sat next to the fire for two hours and still couldnt' warm up so i went to bed! Slept in a sweat shirt and sweat pants. I was freezing!!

Well yesterday i put my paddles on to get ready for thanksgiving weekend down in oregon. I came across a problem and it looks like it will have to get fixed down in oregon in a toyhauler!! My axle bearings are SHOT! I hope i can find a dealer ship that has the axle bearings and seals in stock, or its not going to be a fun weekend! Hey maggie'sboy can you look and see if you have axle bearing and seals in stock for a 2000 warrior? I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Hi you!! After I talked to you I couldn't find you anymore!! LOL, I think you guys were hiding j/k Yeah there was definetly some carnage Sat. night!! I'm not sure if the zilla lost his hub or not but I seen a guy wandering around the pits w/ the tire? He packed it HAAARRRRDDDD!!! Yeah it was a little chilly, actually I didn't get cold @ all, BUT I was runnin around like a chicken w/ my head cut off trying to keep them kids in line!! They had the heat ROLLIN in the trailer whew I walked in there & started sweating!! I always get colder when I sit in the stands it must be from not moving around as much who knows.

Not sure if Bill will see the message about the bearings, his puter is broken right now but I bet they might have them, I'd call down the tomarrow morning!! They actually had my seals in stock for the 300!!

We've got some good video coverage of you Joel thought the camera was broke yesterday but I guess it was just too cold to work after I took it out of the truck OOPPSSSS so when we got home last night I tried to watch it again & it worked WHEW I was worried it's only 8 months old!!!! But we did get an extended warranty on it just in case!!
So you'll have to come check it out sometime I wish I knew how to put the vids online, it would take FOREVER w/ my dial up I'm sure!! I might try it sometime, then I can post them online!

I was there until 8:30 i think. I left after all the races i was way to cold to stay for the main events. I saw my bf's cousin there with his kids so i was talking to him for alittle bit. Went outside came back in and he was flagging me down. He was sitting right below joel and jolene. I talked to him for about 15 mins then they left. I just stayed in the same spot cuz i was so cold. I guess i'm a wimp, sometimes. I didn't have the right shoes on thats for sure. Because if i could keep my feet warm i would of been fine.

One thing i did notice about DJ and i'm not trying to be rude i want to give him a pointer since i was watching him when he was racing. Is tell him to get his butt off that seat! From where i was sitting it looked like he was just leaning into the corner. I know when i raced that one time i had my right butt cheeck on the left side of the seat (left cheeck not even touching). he might not want other peoples help but i just thought i would give him a pointer. I hate it when kids race i just sit in the stand with a fear they are going to hurt them selvs. I'm glad DJ didn't get hurt when he rolled!!!

Joel that was a nice 1st place you took. Did you ask the guy in the pits what he was doin?? LOL

Haha yep gotta have the right shoes out there, the boots I had on SUCKED will never wear them again it's tennis shoes from now on!!

As for DJ YEP he looks a little goofy on the 450 he is sitting WAY to far back but he says he can't get it too hook up, we are going to try to take some lugs out of the tires & maybe put some 18's on it, that way it'll be 2" lower, we are also putting wheel spacers on it to make it wider, I think then he'll feel more comfy on it, plus it's a WHOLE LOTTA HP to handle!!! If you seen him ride his 300 or blaster you can tell he's WAY more comfy on them! No prob w/ the pointers
Naw he's got a sore hip/leg but other than that he's ok, he was more worried about Jolene's quad LOL,

I had a great time. I just wish my shocks wouldn't have blown. I don't think there is any fluid left in them. It was like riding with two pogo sticks instead of shocks.
Loki has a busted mounting bracket and his rear plastic has a nasty rip in it from that other black yfz landing on him. Just glad he was able to ride it out and not get hurt.

Woodland is very well organized, and I love that they keep everything moving fast and don't have any down time between motos. I also like the fact that they treat the quads fairly. I think that is a big part of why their quad turnout is always so good. It was a really cool sight to see all those quads lined up for the first practice. There's even more quads than last season.

Yea when its not your quad its harder to ride. You are more worried about the quad than the race atleast i know i was when i raced TP's banshee 2 yrs ago. I know on his 300 DJ is more comphy, i remember him riding it up in darrington, he was awesome! Get that 450 hooked up and get him back out there on it. I know DJ can handle that quad! Oh tell Ron i was getting a kick out of him when Trevor was racing and he was right on 1st places butt. I think Ron was getting more anxious than trevor. I love it when the parents are jumping up and down. Which one was maggieboys son?

Maggiesboy son was on #20 a little blue Eton40 he wasn't feeling well at all that night poor kid but he went out anyway Good job Brandon!! I'm watching the video now, DJ was watching it last night in slow motion LOL it looks pretty cool that way

DJ is missing racing his blaster I can tell BUT he won't complain about it cuz he's LOVING the 450 & wants to get that one down so he can represent well for Bill!! Everytime the blaster class goes out I can see it in his eyes, wish we could afford for him to race that also but he's moving up to big & better things so he's gotta give up one of them unfortunetly
Im' gonna talk to Bill today to see if we can get those tires to TP if he'll do them so that should help!

For all you Woodland racers....I have started a photo gallery for you and I will be adding pictures from all the races throughout the season. There's a few in there now, and I will be adding more as I upload and edit them.

This link will stay the same, so you may want to bookmark it if you want to check for new photos.
Woodland MX photo gallery

Also, if anyone else has photos from the Woodland races that you would like added to the gallery, you can email those to me in .jpg format to nwquadracers@yahoo.com and I will add them.
