Let me rephrase that comment, the breakfast I had was so so, I'm sure lunch and dinner meals are good, I just like the more traditional service of sitting down and having your order taken, coffee poured and being waited on by Val.
WHAT!? Does Val know you wrote that?

I could always just pretend to be stuck,,,maybe somewhere up high,,,,so you would need to bring your quad to even reach me

That's the staging area I was thinking of, across the creek, where that pickup was dumped and under the powerlines. That's where we staged out of earlier in the year, my only trip there. I'm not eating breakfast, stop, meet up and go.

fishygal; Right now a whole lot of the Simpson gate are open because of their timber deal with the US government and none of the property up here is posted no riding. We also have access to Tacoma Power and Light powerline roads and the gas pipeline(underground pipe that is). Even when the gates are closed the are at least 2 dozen ways in that I know of. Weyerhauser and Manke are big on posting their land and threating criminal trespass, Weyerhauser is the only one to do it that I know of(the ***** of the timber industry, of course they own all the land the cut too). They are all building barrcaides and trenching to limit access but all that does is give riders some challenge in see what kind of cross country trail blazing they can do. I have not seen a gate that wasn't bypassed some how. I also am not a rain fan and ususally pass on rides in the rain (have hunted in the rain though). Don't like cold much (hurts me if I get cold), but have all the gear to stay warm so it isn't much of a problem and the snow is just to much fun to ride in. So yeah, drop me a note when you are going to go and we can hook up and ride.
