Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Quad4Fun, This has been dragging on since the fall of 2002 and been not able to work since May of last year. Yep, that's where Union is right on the south shore of the southern most part of Hood Canal. Never done Capitol except for the Middle Waddell Creek trail once. Have done Tahuya yet either. Did a bunch of snow riding out at the Canyon River (western Mason and Eastern Grays Harbor counties) area last winter and of course here locally. Would love to hook up and do either Capitol or Tahuya or both for that matter. We do a lot of riding on Simpson Timber land here locally, did that yesterday and today.

Let me rephrase that comment, the breakfast I had was so so, I'm sure lunch and dinner meals are good, I just like the more traditional service of sitting down and having your order taken, coffee poured and being waited on by a server. If I have to wait on myself, the price of food should be dropped a notch or two. Don't get me wrong about the Buzz Inn's, when I had my Karaoke business I did shows in many of the Buzz Inn's around the area and got to know the managers very well and liked the way they did business, along with having a good variety of food, but still breakfast to me is walking in an establishment weary eyed and tired, then being seated and served

Bear, welcome to the thread!!!

I feel your pain on having to deal with L&I, I had an on the job injury and was out from May 1990 - April 1998, eight freaking years jumping through hoops and finally told them to take their measly payments and shove it, I took myself off L&I, through my attorney, and went back to work at a new job and have been there ever since. Enough of that old crap, I'm ready to ride on the weekends whenever you want , (as long as my lovely wife lets me hehehe), casual trail riding and exploring sounds great to me.

Hi Bear, was wondering where you found places to ride on simpson land? We have property by simpson property and it is all posted for no riding? how do you get around that? What happens if you get caught on their property? We have found trail thur the woods and use that for alot of riding area and there is evidence of other riders out there on the dirt roads and trails we have found. All the gated areas are posted for no tresspassing but we dont go around the gates..there is a trail we use. Our property is out of elma area about 13 miles. Alot of good riding out there. We go riding every chance we get. Don't care to ride in the rain but dont mind the cold or snow. Maybe we can all get together for a ride with you.
