We found snow at Rock Candy, about 6", I didn't think it was very easy to ride in because of the trucks that had been on the road one wheel was on snow, and one was on wet dirt, or squished snow, I guess that's how you would say it, anyway, it was on the downhill side, 100' cliff on one side, kinda hard to steer. I think I'll leave the snow in the mountains to the 4x4's. But I must say, it was an experience.

Quad4fun,
I ordered a map from the high mountain atv association. There are miles and miles of trails to ride. I haven't riden them yet, but it looks like it would be pretty cool. You can ride your atv in town to get fuel and get to the trail. You can't just go for a ride on the streets, it's just for accessing trails.
I thought about going to the jamboree but never really have taken the time to go. I'd be happy to just go ride the trails. I have family that lives in Coeur d'Alene and Kellog (they don't ride). My step-dad grew up in that area, in fact he was born in Wallace.
The snow doesn't melt off the upper trails until late June. If you have a snowmobile, they use the same trails in the winter. I'd be interested in going over for a three day weekend in July or August.

I'll put it this way, Val and I have three children, with combined ages equaling 72 years and no qrandchildren, because none are married, and one is older than alot of people on this thread and close to the rest. And I ride as hard as I can every chance I get. But of course when I ride with Bing, BARapt, NWQF, Dinger, 2MnyToyz and BigDaddy I feel like I ride like a 90 year old, they're very fast, if I left someone out, don't be offended, oh yeah, YAM926 too, when he can keep it out of the trees.

I was also going to order a map or something from them if I could. I would like to go riding over there. I have been looking through some of the other Idaho ATV pages. A three day trip over there would be fun, any time after the kids get out of school. Let's definately keep it in mind and try to plan it.
I sent them an e-mail to see when the registration forms for 2004 would be out.

I know what you mean. It gets pretty hairy when you try to ride in the tracks of bigger trucks. I would like to find some good snow somewhere, we'll see though. Glad you made it through ok. I might just end up there on Sunday, haven't been there for a while and would like to ride the area.
Thanks

As far as mods go, Im not sure what there is out there for your quad... Have you tried Rocky Mountain ATV or other sites on the www?
There arent too many mods for my "kids" ozarks either... (I say Kids cause I still have to get something for me)
If you have time type in "ATV Parts and Accessories" and search it in your web browser... That will bring up a bunch of sites where you can go and order FREE parts magazine... They dont cost you anything and they make good reading material when your not riding.
Hope that helps ya...

Dingo, I don't think anyone's been ignoring you, it's just that you have a pretty obscure quad there. I don't believe there are any mod's you can make to it. Flags fit anything, but I wouldn't put paddle tires on a 150cc four-stroke, it'll just kill the power. It look's like your motor sit's in a Suzuki LT80 chassis, so you could probably find chassis parts there. It will be up to you to find out what kind of motor is in it. If it comes from a dirt bike, you could probably find hop-up parts that way. You'll have to customize any exhaust you buy though. Talk to your dealer, he might be able to hook you up with something. I hate to break it to you, but I would ride it til' you're done, then spend your hard-earned money on something bigger when you're ready for more power. I know I probably didn't help much, but at least it's a start.
