Originally posted by: teamsuzuki hey guys new here... happarap told me about this forum. hey happarap is gsxr from the other site. i couldnt get that name here someone already has it. anyway looking forward to doing the ride on sat, i dont have any skid plates yet so hopefully we wont go somewhere that i would need them. dont know really where to meet, anyone coming from lakewood? if so would you want to meet a 512 mickey D's. i'm new to all this so hopefully i wont slow anyone down.
Welcome, glad you made it over to the dark side hehehe. You'll be fine without skids, rocks aren't the problem at Tahuya, it's the wristbreaking roots you ride over, and I would bring some raingear, there are puddles of water on the trails. RidinLCWA is coming from Chehalis, you could PM him, or you could meet up with us at the Union St. exit on Highway 16, we can pull over on the shoulder, should be there at 7:15am, we shouldn't be hard to miss, three vehicles and quads. It's great you're making this ride, should be a blast, see ya Saturday. I'm shooting you a pm.

well cutie the only thing holding me back is getting my beads set on my tires. i spent an hour on them today with no luck, i tried the rope and soap method with no luck. the main problem is when they sent them to me they shink rapped them and put flat spots on the outside of the tire. when i cinch the rope down instead of sucking in uniformly it gets flats spots and rigdes so the bead doesnt flex out all the way around. tomorrow im am going to another tire store and see if they have better luck, if not i may try cyclebarn. if all else fails i will do the starter fluid trick but that is a last resort. You are leaving the valve stem out while trying to seat the beads aren't you? It lets the air in a whole bunch faster. Try using something wide like a tow strap, a rope is to narrow. Even a belt would be better than a rope.
hey SkLLz bring them by the shop on your way through I have my ways to get those things seated.....
I know it's a little out of the way but not too far ...I'm the ast mgr. at big O in auburn....just ask for josh....I take a cheeta to them and if that dont work i have a special tube to go around the out side....
You work for Herb?
Yep I work for herb..................How do you know herb?
I worked for Mr. Davenport at the Marysville location. I hated going south to pick up tires! I got smart and went to tech school at UTI and then went to work for Land Rover and Jaguar in Houston. Deaths in the family brought me back here to washington.

Good morning back to you Sir, I'm always in good spirits when I have the day off I did the Good Spirits in my younger days, these days I am happy to just kick back with Hollywood and watch the festivites on the tube, but since I'm getting up early for the ride tomorrow, I'll probably be in bed by 8:00pm, you know how us early risers are, or is that older folks are
