Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

hey sandbomber thanks again for the rims, i didnt expect tmnytoys to pull out 5 rims and 3 tires, you rock! it will be nice to replace the tie rod i bent at walker with the one you gave me. now all i have to do is order my new axle, see if i can cut out and weld in a new section of pipe on my steering column and finally epoxy or liquid steel the crack in my oil resevoir filler neck. the plastic and headlight can wait, plus i gotta order new handle bars since they are only $30. i think i will have it mostly back together for the ride at walker on the 23rd. my DS will be in its road warrior uniform with no plastic or haedlight up front.

also sandbomber is there any tricks to taking out the axle and putting the new one in?

Wow! Over 800 pages. You guys are typing fools.

I finally got the Grizzly out again since the last Cle Elum snow run. There is A LOT more snow here now then just a few days ago. It won't stop snowing.

Anyways... I got it stuck real good and had to use the winch for the first time. While using it I was reving up the engine like I do in my Land Cruiser. The alternator in my Land Cruiser puts out more juice at higher RPM's.

My question is: Do the quads (specifically my Grizzly) have a charging system that is dependent on RPM's like my Land Cruiser?

Thanks!
Ron
Ron, Yes it does.
Thanks Bear!!!

Any time!!! There was a little pucker factor sliding the trailer down the hill, but I figure if I was going down, I'd take you with me .

It sounds like I missed a killer Reiter Snow Run!!!

When is the next run?

I've got my Grizzly in the back of my truck. I just need to know when & where the next ride is.

That'd be the 4-5" exhaust... I enjoy it. My Dad says you need to be a stinkin' flight engineer to drive it... I think he was a little overwhelmed with the exhaust brake .

Glad I could help!!!! Axle - it should be easy if you take it off in the right order. I did have one that I had trouble getting the sprocket splines to slide off, needed a bigger hammer Make sure handle bars are the right bend to clear tank. I have a new carbon fiber tank plastic coming so if you want mine you can have it soon!!!
