Wow,

I get back on and everybody's got tires.

SandB,
got you PM, but I think I accidentally deleted it duuhhhh
What was I thinking.
I'll look at what you have and see if I can make them work for now.
Thanks

Joel,
yes I agree. I don't want the 16.5's, I really want to get away from them.
But that is what is on the truck right now.
If I just get tires, I'm stuck with those for now.
I want the 16x8 wheels, with the 285 or 295 tires.
Tires & Wheels are pretty spendy for these big rigs, yikes.

Josh,
Thanks, I will do that. I"ll see what Glen has, maybe he's got something I can make work for now.
I want the new BFG All-Terrain KO's. either 285 or 295 75R16's.
Let me know where your shop is and I'll try to swing by. I think I heard you say before you are down by Auburn somewhere.

Due to my Search & Rescue, and spending lots of time in the woods during the winter, I want to stick to the good All-Terrain tires. I pretty much live and die with the Les Schwab Wild Country TXR's or the BFG All-Terrains. Been there done that with both those for over 10 years and love e'm both.

Thanks to you guys for the offers and input. It's great

SandB,

I am going to look for tires here quickly.
Just a matter of money.
I really need All-Terrain tires, as I spend a lot of time off road, and in ugly road conditions.
I can't beleive how much it's gonna cost me for just tires (about $800 for BFG all-terrains or Les Schwab TXR's)
And over $1300 for tires and wheels.
I want to go with smaller wheels. I want 8" instead of 10".
But, at this point, I'm open to all options.

I need either 33x12.5x16.5 tires,

Or, 285 or 295x75x16 tires & wheels.

Oh well, I'll see what I can come up with
If you ever listen to any thing I post I want it to be this one. If you are going to get tires and wheels together, stay away from 16.5 wheels. The 16.5 tires are "taper seat beads" and do not hold a bead. If you have 35-40 pounds of air and hit a curb, it will pop the bead. Check out 4x4 mags, they don't have many 16.5 tires compared to 16's. This is the sole reason. If they are 1/2 the cost I still wouldn't buy them. OK enough of my tire opinion.
Sean come see me at work on monday or give me a call I'll see what I can do ...I can usually beat les and discount for price
Hey Josh look me up the OTD on a few basic 20's, just wheels, remount my old tires. I ruined a stock 20 and can't find any stockers locally. 03 dodge 1/2 ton, I think 5.5 on 5, or 5on5.

Hey Glen,

What does he have them on, or what were they on? Obvioulsy a Ford..Did it have a lift on it??
I don't know if those would be to tall for my truck or not.
I'd be interested in looking into them for now to get me by though.
either let me know the info on them, what kind of tires and how much he wants.........
Or his info, and I can get ahold of him and talk to him.

Thanks a bunch

Larry,
Dog woke me up with it's barking.
Only a trace of snow here. Nothing to worry about.
See you at the Buz Inn, now it's back to bed for me.
