What year is that Bronco? Looks exactly like mine, 96, toureador red, (not sure on the spelling, guess it's just red). Now a hairscramble sounds like fun, I guess you'd see all different types of quads there also. Are there any type of equipment requirements, such as nerfs or kill switches?
Just participating in that type of race would be fun.

Hi Larry,
My Bronco is a '94, so it probably looks just like yours. Well almost, mine looks like a porcupine due to my antennas for my SAR radios LOL .

The scramble does sound like fun. I would love to do one, it does sound like a blast. I'll have to see if I can talk momma into this one. I would like to find others as they come along to go play at.

Yodaddy:

Thanks for the description. Sounds like fun. Do you know if you have to have any special equipment? What skill level do you have to have to ride in those? I think I will keep an eye out for them, would like to go to some of them.

Hi everyone,
A friend of mine bought a 88 bronco 2 and the tranny is bad. If anyone has one, give me a holler.
Thanks

Hap, go ahead and bring that whacker and we'll see what happens. You never know, it could end up being one of the better tools out there.

Sandbomber, if it was you, you had a monster diesel pusher, and a large cargo trailer. I was in a motorhome and trailer myself. We were there from the Monday before to Memorial Day. If I'm not mistaken, you had a monstrous dog too! By any chance are you in the gravel/trucking biz? If it's not you, then smack my a$$ and call me Sally! LOL

Hap, we should be able to make it for the pizza feed. Remember, you don't have to hit every work party, but I would certainly be glad to have you at every one of em'. WHOOPISHHH! (that's just me practicin' with the whip)

Bing, we certainly have to meet, Hap said we both ride standin' up all the time. I told him to take his seat off, but he wouldn't listen.

Quad4Fun, maybe Loki and Raptorchick could let us know of more harescrambles that allow quads. I would love to do New Years with you, but we have a tradition we must folow every year. (Buddies cabin at Crystal) I'm just jonesin' to hit one! I love racing, but MX just isn't my cup o' tea anymore. Although with that being said, I wil probably hit at least one this year.

John

dual-sporter
Did you get your suspension problem figured out?

I also have a question, Southbound I-5 @ exit 49 (Castle Rock), There are some dirt hills to the west (looking right) of the freeway W/Quad tracks all over them, Is that private property or can anyone ride their? You can't see it in the summer time because the trees are full of leaves, but now all the trees are bare & theres allot of fresh tracks on the trails. This question is open too all that might have a answer Thks Jim

Are you refering to the ASH piles by the river? If not, something needs to be investigated. There can never be enough riding spots!
