There seems to be several of us keeping a list of food for the pigout so if anyone needs to know what to bring or what is being brought just ask.

I have a question for Cindy:

I have a Japanese Maple, base is 7" diameter, 8'x8', 5' high. I want to transplant it away from the house, is this the best time to attempt it while it's in the dormant state? I think you can see it in Hollywoods gallery, thanks for any advice you can get out of her.
I'll consult the expert.
Yes this is a good time. You need to have a root ball that is at least 5'-6' in diameter. It will be heavy! This will require a lot of digging. Cindy says 3-4 hours. Use a sharp shovel and don't pull on the branches. When you transplant it use liquid B-1 transplant formula. It would cost you about $700.00 to hire a profesional to transplant it. Take your time so get get a nice root ball. They do take to transplanting easily and now is the best time to do it. Don't wait for it to leaf out.

The above consultaion advice will only cost you a small sum. Bill is in the mail
Thanks,
Cindy

Ok gang, where can I dispose of 80' of 25yr old cedar fence boards besides the dump? Are there any wood recyclers around here that take that kind of product? I don't mind paying the dump fee, just wondering if I could dispose of it another way.
BONFIRE! I'll bring the marshmallows!

Does anybody have an idea what the cost would be for a survey of a piece of property to determine property lines, say 12,000 sq ft?
Big bucks. How much you willing to spend to find the lines? I would say over $2,000.00
