Lake Trask? How is that for camping? Is there a place I can get more info on it? Does it have a place for fishing/swimming?

Thanks!

I'm starting to feel like a stranger, heck I haven't been out for about 6 weeks!!! I still have to meet Kevin and his family. Valerie's the same way about camping, one night in the woods and she's finished, except when we go to Sand Lake. She would also camp often if a motorhome was her camp dwelling.

Kevin, we're planning on being at Sand Lake Sept 20-23, Saturday-Monday, leaving Tuesday to come home. We will be staying with friends in campsite #5. Have you ridden a Raptor? I'm finishing it tomorrow, hopefully, to go riding Saturday at Waddell. When we meet up take her for a ride.

Pam, wheelie billie? I must have missed more than just camping.

SoXx, is that how it's spelled? More people to meet, I'm beginning to feel like the neewbie, welcome to the forum, what's your quad?

Well must get to sleep, work on the quad in about 5 hours, talk at everybody later.

Larry

Hey Larry, Sand Lakes sounds good if I can get a campsite we'll try to head down the 18th thru the 22nd Sept. Can I get a number to a camp ground your gonna be at so I can call to get a spot? (might be too late?) About your Raptor... Way to big for me! LOL Nicks 400 was plenty for me. If your friends have room for us, let me know I would gladly pay! (Or cook breakfast for everyone)

I'll see whats up for a ride this saturday in waddell.. Ive been stuck here at work since Monday and will be here till Sat morning at 8. I get to go home for the night on Thursday.. I still have to change oil and clean the filters on the quads so I may not make it..

SoXx.. If you ever want to go riding with us, let me know.. I have room for 2 more quads on our trailor.. I have a couple p/u trucks and work at ft lewis... Would be no problem to swing by after work to grab it.

Bill, That goes for you too.. "Wheelie" Im serious! hahaaa

Lake Trask is near Mason Lake and Tahuya (Mason County). It makes for a fun sunday ride if one was to camp and ride Tahuya on saturday.

Basicly a bunch of Simpson timber land (fast, safe logging roads, and a pit to play in). No good for camping that I know of, other than Tahuya (10 miles or so from Trask).

Kevin,
I looked up the Sand Lake info and will PM you with the link and phone numbers for reservations. There seem to be quite a few open in September. Love to have you stay with us but it is not our site and each site is only allowed so many vehicles. There will be 6 adults in our camp, 2 of my riding buddies, their wives and Val. BTW...She is busy looking for a portable shower as I type this ...
