I gotta say it again. This racing thing is getting fun.
Asher keeps improving and is doing sweet........
Her skills and riding techniques get better each time out.
I'll have to get you pros to watch her video and give her some pointers [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
She would love that[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

She is the Hole Shot Queen....... No matter how fast the other quads are, she always beats them all off the line for the first 50 feet or so. Until the modded quads kick in. In her stock class, she is now holding her own when she gets the hole shot[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].
She was in the A main in both her classes today again.
Getting a 1st and 3rd in the heats, and a 2nd and 3rd(I think:confused[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] in the Mains.
I'll have to watch the video to check the 3rd place. Losing my memory.
She is starting to be able to outride her lil stock Lt80. (Oh, I can see the wallet shrinking already)
With a fully modded Lt80, whoaaaaa, she'll be a force.
Baby steps though. I told her she needs to get her technique and skills down before modding to much. We'll mod appropriately as she gets better.
New tires and handlebars coming for the next race. Should help her tremendously in the corners, no rolly polly with the round stock tires...... They stink.........

I may try to take her to RMC during the week for practice. They have the MX track set up all week for practice I believe. I'll have to check on that again.........

it's good to hear those that went to moses lake had a good time.

well i got in from the team race, great event to spectate. 54 teams and 4 in the ironman class. i'm guessing about 150 riders(?)
the winner was pro rider brandon brown, his teammate didn't make it so he rode pro class alone. with 2 bikes, he'd switch off & have his pit crew refuel & maintain the one he wasn't riding... he made 18 laps alone, next best team only made 17 laps!!!
need i say it? carnage.... i can't say how many quads were broke down, & torn up. i hiked out to shoot some video on the track at the 'elevator', and 'dry pond'(where i witnessed a few getting out of shape & helped a gal twice after crashing) i got some really good footage, i think.

next team race is may 1st at starvation ridge!!!


who's riding this saturday/sunday & where? my brothers & i may do some trail riding... reiter?

 

Quad4Fun - She sounds awesome. Tell the Little Ms I'm rooting for her to say the very least. ^-^ Though I must say she did look rather good on that Blaster when we were at that quadding shop (hey, it's 3:30 in the morning, I can't think of the name right now... Brain fried). ^-^;; Maybe a little too much power though. Aw well.

I only rode the one day at Moses but my body sure does feel it. Legs, back and shoulders. Didn't have the energy to put the quad back into dirt mode.

We got our pictures back from RacinPics, Inc. The pictures of Brandon airing out the 40 are killer lookin. Even hairy the dog got in on the action. Both Grandpa's are gonna be stoked with pictures of little man airborne!

Funniest moment of the weekend. We all got back from our first ride on saturdayy and was sittin round BSn and eatin and stuff. i let mud dog out the truck and he headed straight for the shiny banshee and watered the tire [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I dunno what it was there was 8 quads parked in the same area and he ran past them all to get that banshee [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i guess he was claimin it for me. maybe he wants me to get a banshee huh ????? Helped some friends move some stuff from one storage to the other, got a great meal out of it!!
