Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

For those going tp Pacific Raceways...........
May 15th is the first race.

As it gets closer, maybe we can figure something out.

It would be fun if all of us going could pit together
that would be a hoot..........
I haven't been there yet, so I'm gonna try to go down there before hand and take a look at the whole place to see how it's set up.

I'm gonna try and get ahold of the guy in charge cause I have a couple questions.
1 - Do they have age limits for quad size? My neighbors 15 y/o son wants to race his Z400.
He was told at race series involving the AMA that he couldn't race it until he was 16???

2 - What is the definition of STOCK? What all can you do and still be considered stock.
Some allow pipes and tires in stock classes, not sure what other "non-mechanical/motor" stuff
can be done??????

I'm also looking at taking Ash down to Riverdale Raceway to practice and look at the track.
Practice Thursday - Sunday...... 10 - 6
Suppose to be a nice big track.
It's down south by Toutle, Exit 49 off I-5

Riverdale

That's great Sean! Tell Ashley congrats!

If I were you I would stick with either a Honda 90, or another lt80. They are both reliable and respond well to mods.

The track at Riverdale is supposed to be awesome. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but everyone else that's been there loves it.

As far as the track at Pacific Raceways goes, the promoter is meeting with the track designers this week to discuss the layout. It probably won't be set up for the quads until the week before the race.

Here is the GNCC definition of stock. Not sure how or if it would apply to the Pacific Raceway rules, but I would assume it would be similar.

4. Stock (ATV) - May change front shocks, tires, wheels, throttle assembly, axle, handlebars, grips, skid plates, plastics and seat covers, including those that add traction, but may not change seat height. May add bead locks, nerf bars, foot peg extensions, and open or closed end, metal or plastic hand guards. May not add steering stabilizers or air filter sleeves. May not add front shock reservoirs, or modify or remove front shock reservoirs from machines that come equipped with them. Riders may change front shocks on ATVs that do not come with rebuildable stock front shocks, but they may not replace the front shocks on ATVs that do come with rebuildable units stock (like the YFZ450). Only machines that come equipped with front reservoirs stock may run them. All motor components and rear suspension must remain stock. Aftermarket replacement parts may be used so long as they do not improve motor performance, add travel to the suspension, or have a reservoir. Example: must have stock pipe, silencer, carburetor, air box, air cleaner, rear shocks, etc....

GNCC Rules

Maybe Tahuya after breakfast at Larry's?
I would be up for a day at Tahuya.

Hey gang - long time no sign on for chit-chat

I figured I better do some clarification here after my poor Happa got so much flak with what he said about not riding lately to spend time with me , he gets "special" points for that one, whether it's true or not, I loved it

And NO I was not standing over his shoulder when he wrote it, although he did know I would read it Still counts though!

Seany - as for Hap not wanting help with things, I have been helping him because he is way too **** for anyone else to put up with when he works and he knows it! He is a real butthead to work with sometimes, it's his way or.... his way. It would be really bad if he didn't see it but he does so he knows better than to accept the help unless he is really in a predicament

I know ya'll are just funnin' him but the wifey part of me has to jump in and stick up for him

i know that tahuya is being logged heavily right now so my vote would be for capitol forest. the trail boss from wsqr says when they get done with the logging there will be more trails and a couple new bridges (come one wider bridges) anyone that has seen me cross a 48" bridge knows what im talkin about. Capitol Forest isn't any farther for me than Tahuya. So that would be good too. Damn, I'm easy! Just not cheap!

Evans Creek Riders

Here's my .02 cents worth, Evans will be too nasty, bag that place. Since Capitol has been closed for 6 months and we went to Tahuya 2 weeks ago, I support meeting up at Rock Candy and riding the trails.
