found this at sandlakeduners.com
1-2002 Raptor Le It has a PRM bumper, PRM grab bar, and PRM belly pan. Also has a DG swingarm skid plate. Comes w/ a Scott's re-usable billet looking oil filter. Quad has maybe 60 hours on it. $4500
1-2002 Yellow 300EX Less than 20 hours on it. Great shape(some minor scuffing on plastic) scares the wife. Comes w/ paddles, helmet, chest protector $3300
2-2002 Red 250EX's Less than 20 hours on both, They're both in almost perfect shape(a couple of scuffs in plastic) Both have paddles, helmets, and chest protector's. $2900 each.
I also have a 16' tandem trailer w/ brakes with a small diamond plate tool box mounted on it. I used it to haul the quads whenever we got a chance to ride. It may have 2000 miles on it. I need $1200 for it, paid $1900 for it.
Will consider any offers, and may deliver (within reason )
It was in the for sale section do you guys think the raptor is a good deal?

it sounds good, but you would really need to see it.
As far as the price,,,Im not even really sure what used raptors are going for these days.
That Scotts Oil filter is pretty sweet though (worth 150$ or so). I wish I had those PRM's too.

with all this talk about keys, i had to give my input...my quad originally had an ignition switch, a gas cap lock, a seat latch lock & the kill switch.... it only needs one now: the kill switch... it's a race machine, simplicity is the order of the day. if i had to, i know i coud make it run even if i had no kill cord.
i've been wanting to go to the hangover for 2 years now & still haven't gone... it's just been bad timing for me. last year my LT was apart for cleaning to get sold to buy my current quad, year before that, my motor was torn apart or something like that... this time my shocks will be at a shop.
What: WORCS race #1, see schedule on thier website.
Where: Mesquite, NV(about 1-1.5 hrs north east of las vegas on I-15)
When: january 16-18.
lokiDS650 & I are talking about going together to some of the WORCS races(mostly the distant region #1 races) & split costs. i'm working on borrowing my mom's 7x16 enclosed trailer for it, & he's got the tow rig.
i'm thinking of a trip to richland soon, after i get my suspension done... not sure as to what dates yet... depends on if i have time after my shocks get back... which i hope i do, i need at least one hard ride to do some fine tuning on them... & richland has the perfect terrain to do it.... wide open, tons of 1-3 ft whoops & MX track.

Bonehead, trust me, the trail set-up for quads needs a lot of work. We are currently working very hard with and against a lot of people to make them better. Our next Tahuya DNR/Focus Group meeting is already heating up to be a real knock down, drag out fight with the motorcycle people! They seem to think narrow trails with no sight lines is the only way to slow down the action in the Tahuya. We argue that 2-track trails should allow more than an inch on either side of an ATV and should be clean of debris(stumps, roots, rocks, etc..) to allow ATV's and non expert motorcyclists a good trail experience and allow us time to recover from mistakes.
What do you think guys, the motorcycle group thinks the fact that there is no forward visibility is the way to go to slow people down. I argue that the people who ride over their ability, and have no sense of trail ettiquete do not care either way. I believe this is stupid reasoning. I want to see people coming and I want a chance to recover from mistakes. I also argue that neither motorcycle or horse has to deal with only 1 inch of clearance on any trail or bridge! Even their single track trails, which is over 3 times the mileage of 2 track, give at least 5-8 inches on either side to play with! I have even challenged the other groups to ride a quad on these trails just to see what we're talking about. Know what we hear each time?!?!?! I wouldn't ride one of those things! So we deal with a lot of snobbery as well.
Be aware guys, a lot of ATVers are new to off-roading. We tend to be our own worst enemy. Learn the rules of the trail and for GOD SAKES!!!!, do not pit ride. ie- do not ride or allow your kids to ride in the trailheads, wear helmets and other riding gear, and do not ride double!!! Stop making us look like a bunch of bush-leaguers.
Please take the time to come up with a thoughtful and well thought out e-mail for the local land manager to voice your opinion about the trails in the Tahuya. Do not rant, and do not use foul language. We are trying to be the good and easy to work with group in the Tahuya. Not the whiners and complainers the other groups have proven to be. We have got off to a good start by putting in the most trail volunteer hours for the year. So we do carry a lot of clout there.
