I've done alot of thinking lately. Not real sure about my future here in Washington state. Gonna sell every quad, move back to Houston, and go back to work for Land Rover. Rent is too high for a crackerbox apartment, money is too low at Cycle Barn. Tough to go enjoy the toys with your friends when you can't get the time off from a $10.00 per hour job. I left an 1800 square foot townhome in Texas for $600.00 per month and an $18.00 an hour job with Land Rover for my mom. I don't have my mom anymore, and since we went 7 days a week, I don't have time for my family, or the wonderful friends I've met here. It's not right. I'm turning 32 years old and I have a truck and some quads. That is it. It seems like time for a change. I'm in a massive rut.

 

I FEEL your pain man. i have a similar debate going on now too

 

hang in there bud!!! find your niche,,,and go with it

move if you need too,,,,,,i came all the way from NC to be here,,,,and I'm getting ready to move somewhere more realistic as well

You have way more than a few quads and a truck,,,,those kids are to die for,,,you have a beautiful family and a lovely wife

If you always keep them in mind,,,,you will do just fine

As long as i have a quad in the NW,,,,you got something to ride

Bill, if you need to go back, go! I say this because I was born here but moved to Cali when I was a small child. Grew up there, had a blast there [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. But, when I had my own babies and the Rodney King riots hit, and I'm watching chit burn less than half a mile down the road, and I'm grabbing my babies and hitting the road to be safe, I said, "I'm going home!" Now, I visited every summer, and most of the family was here, so it sounded safe. It was still a shock and took some adjustment when I got back. But.......12.5 years later, I wouldn't change the decision. So, do what you need to for you and your family. Be happy and loved.

Hey there Bill,

Only met up with ya once, but you are a great man, with a great family . All you can do is what you and your family decide is best for you all, and whatever you decide will work out for you I'm sure. All of us on here will miss you guys dearly if you decide to leave, but what is best for you guys is what really counts. The wonder of this great forum and the computer world, is that you guys will really only be a few keystrokes away no matter where you end up.
As you will see, this group will support you in whatever your decision.

BUT.............In some way (as only us nuts can do[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]), I'm sure we will try to perform some sort of intervention here.......
Maybe one of those large group gatherings........ You know what I'm talking about.......One of the occassions where we gather with a few ATV videos, lots of silly pictures of us doing silly things, maybe a little Crown or many other varieties of alcoholic beverages, some folks wearing funny hats.......... and of course OFC and Skllz, completely sober of course[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img], going through their phonebooks on their cell phones and calling everybody they know and telling them how much fun they are missing and/or leaving them some very funny messages.
Maybe we will all even meet up and "circle Bill"(instead of the wagons) quad style.......hehehehe....I'm sure we can get at least 100 quads
I'm thinking a gathering of that proportion is needed to raise your spirits........
