Part three: From Ellensberg, we made it to Beverly with no more pain and only an hour or so behind Helparap and BigDaddy. We had a GREAT RIDE WITH GREAT PEOPLE!!!

Standing by the fire with the cold one and all the group there was great. Hanging out with 2manytoyz and family was just as awesome!

 

Sandbomber......nice looking SPUD!!!! Rex had about 3 brothers that looked like spud (on black eye).

Sooner or later we are all going to be gathered around the fire with muddy quads in the backdrop, black/white dogs everywhere,,,and a whole lot of chit talking.

2many,,,,sorry to hear of the problems. I lost a wheel on my trailer between Yankton, SD and Sturgis (believe it or not) (improperly torqued lugs loosened and wobbled a wheel)(wollowed out the holes in the rim and broke the studs) I caught it just before it broke off (good ol rear view mirror). Anyway, sorry to hear it. Sounds like a pre-trip problem,,,,,,,J/K.....(former dispatcher)

KING, A moderator is someone who helps out with the forum and keeps an eye out for Riff Raff (like Happa and Nickli). (basicly make sure everyone is abiding by the FAQ page)
We also approve the photo section.

Anyway, It sounds like eveyone had a safe and fun weekend. Good deal.

Part four: Sunday morning.

Breakfast. Hollywood and Bing have competition. Tammy made a breakfast that shamed my a$$. My kid, my bud, and my dog all wanted to join that family [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

More dune riding, more dune riding, more dune riding. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

It was so fun!! I have NEVER ridden sand dunes with a couple of inches of snow covering them.

The boys were jumping, we were getting muddy, Tammy was riding and cooking, and life was good.

I need a wife for crying out loud - Larry and Karl, you are so lucky!

The other day someone was wondering if we would hit 2000 posts by 2004. Then someone joked about 3000 (after we handled 2000 that next day).
wellll, we are at 2500 something. 3000 shouldnt be a problem (especially after everyone lists all that SANTA brings them..

It is very unprintable at this point. (thought about trying) (at least on my system)

 

Part 5:

We made it a few yards and we noticed a bad sound. We stopped and Bill got out and check the gas cans and the flags to make sure they were secured. Started up, went 10 feet, and it started [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Bill check the trailer connection.

Started a third time, maybe 500 feet down the road, and it starts again, BAD! We stopped, looked at each other and said "(Oh ShIZZ, the truck!)" Looked down and no kidding, the freaking bearing was not on the driveshaft where it was supposed to be.

We stopped.

An oldtimer came out and said, "you're not leaving that trailer here, are you?" He said it would be stripped or a meth lab by morning. He offered to let us pull it into his yard to keep it secure.

2manytoyz pulled up. (White knight and his lovely maiden, Tammy.)

The White Kight offered to take us (and our quads) home to Tacoma, an extra 2 hours to their trip!!!!

We accepted and loaded our 3 quads on his Brand new trailer and beautiful motorhome.

After we were on I-90, we heard a weird ocsillating noise......but we were too tired to deal with it
