Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Ahh, just cracked my first beer of the day...............just got home from a two hour solo tour of Walker Valley. Good times, I saw only one other person, they pulled in as I left! Nice and easy trail riding on the rappy 3.5. Just enough water up there for a few puddles, nothing major, deepest water was just to the bottom of the nerf bars. The trails have gotten much needed attention since I was up there last, lookin good I must say.

The Boysen Quickshot is an accelertor pump cover for Kehin FCR carbs that has an additional hole milled into it. It takes away the hesitation when you stab the throttle. I gained a very crisp throttle right off of idle. I'm gonna try to track ride it this afternoon (after I was the 3.5 and load the fofiddy)

Good morning PSAR. I've got some friends who wat to go camping and riding sometime in late September. The last two outings we've done have been to the dunes and I'm looking for a change of pace. So, I'm looking for recommendations for a good two day (leave Friday after work and back Sunday night) trip in Washington or Oregon. It would be good to do some trail riding. I've ridden Tahuya and Capitol, so would be looking for somewhere new. Easton sounds nice. Here is your chance to provide input on your favorite camping/riding area. We'll be taking a motorhome, so hook-ups are nice, but not a necessity. More important is a great place to ride (where one can get a full day in).

The wife and I are doing the China Hat Campground in the East Fort Rock OHV area SE of Bend in Sept. We take our camper and ride on the 318 miles of trails in the 110,000 acre area. So far 4 trips and and still haven't done all the trails yet.

Thanks for the tip. Can you ride out of the campground or do you have to transport to a trailhead?

China Hat Campground is in the middle of the OHV area and you can ride in the campground to the trails. The major trailheads are all are around the outside of the OHV area, but China Hat is cool because it is in the center. Check here:

No, no... I just like to **** and moan about being stupid. I only gauge my age from DM, she's the early warning age radar for me... Then Ron... .

Happa, sorry you're in another league.

I banged my shin 2 months ago, put a nice gash on it, it's still alittle sore and I have the same knot that won't go away.
Crackin' your shin on anything hurts! It's kinda un-protected...

That sounds like a cool riding area... might have to go there sometime. Reading the website, it looks like late spring/early fall is the best time.
