Hey Happa,
Congrats on the trailer, that's cool........
But I ditto WindyDingyDude's question
How ya gonna get your quads camping now
Are you planning on getting one of those racks for the back of the truck
That would be cool......
Well, a sweet day at Pacific Raceways
I told ya Ash was gonna give that kid a whoopin
OK, she didn't give him a whoopin, but................
She took overall first place for the first time today
Her quad ran good, but she beat him the old fashion way, she outrode him on the last lap of the 2nd moto.
That girl can take corners with the best of them
They came up to a group of slower riders with her in 2nd place, he made the choice to go wide and around them, she made a great choice to go inside and go between the two slower riders.
That put her about 20 feet behind him, then she did what she's been taught and learned on the next 2 corners, doing a great pass on him and then holding on to the lead to the checkered flag
She did great, and we got it all on video and it will be a great learning tool for her.
She has not beat this kid yet, either at Pacific Raceways or Oakwood.
I'm so proud of her for keeping her cool and knowing what to do.
She got a lucky break by him making a little mistake, but she capitalized on it by riding smart.
This was justice to, in the last moto of the year at Oakwood, Ashley was finally ahead of him for the first 3 laps, then he passed her on the last lap to win.
He's a 7 y/o kid that is a very good rider, it's fun to watch him ride..
This will be a great boost for her for whichever series we go to next.

It was also great for Ash because lots of family came to watch her race, that was cool.
Then there is Brett and Me..........
OMG, I don't think Brett and I have had this much fun together.
We just plain had fun, riding together and taking jumps together.
It was great.
The topper was we both launched off the last jump at the finish line for a photo finish in the air,
That was sweet.........
We got some pretty good video of both our races......We'll watch that forever
Huge thanks to my dad for taking the video.....
We again gave a good show to the crowd watching these big 600lb monsters. They were laughing and saying how cool it was that we were just out there having fun and racing.
They even had a stand-in announcer today that was really cool and did a great play by play of our races. He was pretty funny........ He did great all day long also.......
While their regular announcer also does a great job all day, the previous 3 races I/we have been literally totally ignored and got no recognition at all while out on the track. Even when we were racing with other classes, they would talk about them and give play by play but not mention us at all. Honestly is really doesn't matter, but just kind of disappointing we were the only group that didn't get recognized during the races.
But overall, Bob Lattimer and his gang put on a pretty good series for the first year, with a good turnout.
Sounds like he has bigger things planned for next year, and we look forward to it
More races, and different locations, I look forward to seeing how it will go

I have started a petition to ask the Forest Service to open up their class II roads to OHV riding in the Olympic National Forest. Class II roads are the ones they no longer maintain. Which of course is perfect for ATVs and motorcycles. There are 1,197 miles of class II roads in the Olympic National Forest. If you are interested in signing this petition or in even collect some signatures from friends or other rider, please contact my and I will get a copy to you. You don't need to be a registered voter or even 18 to sign. It is the shear number of signers that will count. I find that due to gas prices I will not be able to get around to all the areas I though I would.
Sean, Head line for the Mason County Journal this week reads; "Sheldon, Officials Probe Skok Ticketing On 101". I told you it was a bad idea for Brett to screw with him.
Mornin' PSAR
Wingy and Sean, I figure Larry got a TT instead of a TH because when they go on riding campouts only one quad is needed and that fits in the back of the truck.
A TT has more useable space (all of it) for camping. Right Larry?

Morning PSAR,
I just got the tracking number for my Power Commander III for the new 700R I'm excited for it to show up. I couldn't hold out any longer so I took the 700 for a ride on the power lines up by my place this weekend. Boy that things fun to ride. I think it out does my 660 in every area HappaRap your in for a treat when you get a chance to ride your new 700 I'm still trying to figure out how the ATV mags that test rode it though it didn't have as much bottom end as the 660? You can grunt this thing down in second or 3rd gear and it comes right on and thats with the stock 14-39 gearing as opposed to the 660's 13-40 gearing. The FI really makes a difference! I'm going to make a run down to sand lake with it this coming weekend. If any other PSAR's are interested in heading down that way lmk I'd like to meet up with ya. Also if everything works out the wife and I will be hoteling it at Florence to meet up and ride with you all for your Oct .ride
