Plus, I'm sure there was very very few, if any, scratches in it before. They should re-pain the whole thing.
The adjuster assured me the truck would be returned in pristine, showroom condition, he told Val the same thing, today, I'll tell him I want that statement in writing!!!
Tell him you need it in writing that he can do the same paint quality and product as the factory did and see what he says

Happa, it's been said many times, but you need to fight the adjuster/insurance company on this one. Push them hard to total the darn thing and get a new truck. How about the smell of the WD40 and other odors in the cab -- it's darn difficult to get odors out, even with all new seats, etc. The WA insurance commisssioners' office is a real bulldog on consumer complaints, so do be prepared to file a complaint if things don't go your way. He loves nothing more than beating up on insurance companies. Here is a link to the consumer complaint portion of the OIC website: http://www.insurance.wa.gov/consumers/complaints/.

If you need any help on the government end, let me know. I'd be happy to lend my lobbying skills. Good luck and thank you for keeping PSAR in the loop.

Florence question, how is the night riding? Can we night ride? I thought about getting a pair of lighted whips. Why? because they look cool thats why.
You can ride until 10PM. It's fun going to the beach to watch the sunset and then ride back to camp in the dark. The sun should be setting around 7-7:30 about that time in Oct.

Larry get the guys doing the repairs to run their estimates (Hopefully with a teardown to find all the problems) before they actually start repairing thing. When my kids truck got hit by a biker in the right front wheel, the original estimate was just at a $1000. When they were thru it was over $5000. They found a bent frame and even a bent steering knuckle. Yeah, he was only doing 25 mph. What the shops find could easily push it into a total, but only if they haven't already invested $10,000 in on going repairs into it.

My daughter is selling her 2002 Honda XR100R motorcycle. She bought a couple of years ago from the guy who bought it new, who's kid rode it once and fell off and never rode again. She, with her schedule of work and school has only put about 20 hours on it. Thus the reason for selling the bike. She is asking $1500 for it. If you or anyone you know are interested please let me know.

This ride is still on. Anyone interest is invited. Shower swill not stop the ride, heavy rain probably will, but only showers are forcast. A little rain = a lot less dust.
