Holy crap dude!!!!! I got another buddy with the same exact truck as you,,,,,that cooked his motor too. He took it to Jimmy Lube,,,,they drained the coolant,,,and then only filled it half way. Jiffy Lube is footing the bill,,,,,,,and the ranger had 220,000 miles on it.
He got lucky. Sorry to hear that. Buy a chevy next time....

Sean, Why are you running racing gas? Unless you have major compression, like 14 to 1 or better, the racing gas is a waste of money as it won't make anymore power. Premium pump gas is good up to about 10.5 or 11 to 1. AV gas, 100LL, is good to 12.5 to 1 compression. Unless you have the compression ratio to require the high octane stuff, it will just drain you pocket book and give you no preformance increase.
