Also........

Property is property. It is replaceable...
The situation would dictate the use/display of my gun.
In this and similar cases, would I pull it out in an attempt to stop/detain them..
with the intention of shooting if threatened or they come at me. YES..
If they ran would I shoot. NO.
If they enter my house, the threat to life is not question. SHOOT.
If somebody else life, regardless of where you are, family or not, is in imminent danger.......
Yes...stop the threat..

Again, we all hope we react appropriately if ever faced with any of these situations...
But as the average joe on the street, we will honestly not know how we will react
until and unless we are faced with it.
Now, even minor training and lots of practice will help guide us.
You generally don't have time to think, you react instinctively.........
That's why practice and training is so important, which is hard for the average Joe to get.

Here is some info on RMC starting this week.
Who all is planning on going???????
We are shooting for Wed practice, not sure about Friday racing.
The stolen bike is making a serious hit on the checkbook

A comment posted about the RMC track for MX starting this week
One thing to note on this track is that it will be mellow. It will not be arenacross but almost like a super TT slash MX. Nothing technicall or scetchy thus any skill level or age can have fun. I would think this series can really take off for quads because it should attract alot of new riders and also be a good workout for all the diehards.

Also........

wed practice
times 3 to 9p
$25

friday race
signups start at 3p
pratice 4 to 6p included in signup

admission
spectator $10

pro $45

first moto $35
second $30
third $25
u-12 $25

its all fun and games until you loose the key

I had one on my storage unit when i lost the key. I had to grind the mounting plate bolts and replace everything.

Good locks though.

Puyallup tribal police have it, and I'm going out the door to go get it.
Hope it's still in decent shape

The found it in the Ghetto down there, 28th and Portland Ave......

No details, but I'll find out more when I get there

Gooooooooooooooddd mooorrrrrnnnniiiinnnnggggg PSAR.
hehehehehehe, I"m the first one up at 0300 this morning

I just got back from picking up the bike, wahooooooooo
It's in great shape, no damage
All they did was take the ignition off and put a brand new switch so no key is needed.
It even fit and looked like it was suppose to be there, I assume they've done it before.

A great job by the Puyallup tribal cop.
He drove my this truck sitting at a gas station.
Dirtbag truck, dirtbags sitting in the front, junk in the back, and a new motorcycle.
The bike looked out of place, so he pulled in and checked 'em all out.
Sure as crap it was stolen.
I'll save ya the details, but due to their story he couldn't prove they knew it was stolen.
But, had I not been on the puter and got there message 1-1/2 hours later,
I could have went down there while they had them and the officer would have got my story
and arrested them.
Because when I told him that they cut the lock, he said they had a huge pair of bolt cutters in the back of the truck and that would have been enough to tie them to it dang it.
so he kept my lock and they have all the guys info and they have a good detective that will follow up.
He said they should be able to get them.
We'll see where it goes from here......
I know it happen in the county so they should do something also I would think....

At the least I will get their vehicle description, and names
Not good for them hehehehehehehe

Now if only we could find the pukes that took Happas truck and Glen stuff
I'm going to bed, again.......

Anyway, thanks for all the support and well wishes, that really did make it easier

I think the towing capacity is different from your old 1500 and this F150, mine's 7300lbs because of the short wheelbase, that's why I was wondering the total weight of his trailer with two quads and minimial supplies. Opinions are very welcome. Also I need to have electric brakes installed, how much for those with installation included?

Originally posted by: Bear4570 That 7300# is with the truck at it's max load capacity, what's the total gross with a empty truck? Mine is rated at only 11,300# with the truck at 8800#, but an empty truck would up that number by 4,000#.
Let me see if I have this right,
I need to go by the CGVWR, substract whatever the truck weights with fuel, Val and myself and that's my actual tow capacity, that 7300# is figured on a maxed out GVWR on the truck, if I'm 1500# short of my max GVWR on the truck, that can be transferred to the trailer weight as long as I'm under the CGVWR, does this sound right?

I have a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller. I highly recommend it. It can be mounted at any angle, and applies proportional braking. It also brakes in reverse, which alot of the less expensive ones do not. Tekonsha Prodigy It runs about $150 at Arlington RV and Welding, and I think they charge about $50 to install.
