Old PSAR thread - please see the new one
Well, just talked to Nate. It looks like he will be riding a slow boat to Iraq with all the Bradleys so he will be leaving 3 - 4 weeks earlier than expected.
Since he will be leaving early his leave will also be earlier. He's not sure yet, but his leave may be some time in the middle of October. If his leave is over the weekend of the Florence trip Cindy and I will not be able to make it.
We won't know for a week or two.

And, that way, Happa can do his dance in private. I am sure the other PSAR members would like that.

I've got it on tape, and I don't think I'd show it to anybody
Would not want to be responsible for the psychological trauma done
hehehehe, just kidding, If I was going to Florence we would have had a movie night
With the HappaDance being the featured presentation..aaaaaaaaaaggggghhhhh
That 7300# is with the truck at it's max load capacity, what's the total gross with a empty truck? Mine is rated at only 11,300# with the truck at 8800#, but an empty truck would up that number by 4,000#.
Well........
For 10+ years I lived by the catch phrase from MasterCard........
<u> "Don't leave home without it"</u>
I never left home without my lil ol' peeshooter
spent all kinds of time at the range......
But I've been kinda lax and picked and chose for about the last year.....
Left it at home more often then not....
But mine and Happa recent experience has renewed my faith in society
My faith that there are many many meth maggott, scum sucking, low life freaking thieves.
People that will go to no end to get and take what they want..........
So back on my hip goes the ol' Beretta
Back to the range once or twice a week I go
Don't get me wrong, I believe very strongly in the right to carry a firearm
But also believe very strong that there is even a bigger responsibility for those
that decide to carry one. There is only one reason to ever show that weapon,
and that if you do you better be prepared to use it, not just try to scare somebody..
Period....
And if you are going to carry, you better practice and know how to use it.
Nobody ever really knows how they will react is a life threatening situation until
you are in one. That is why you need to know your weapon of choice and your abilities.
When you have to use it is not the time to learn.............

Sorry to learn about your stolen bike. f-ing scumbags IMO....
Question: Had you been witness to the incident while carrying the berreta, would you shoot to kill?
Also, where was the bike? and how hard was it to steal? Any leads or ideas?
I feel your pain sean, last week in the gijoe parking lot in broad daylight 50 feet from the front door my 17" laptop computer with all my co and personal business was stolen with other things out of my truck about a 3 grand loss along with 30grand of information. Lucky scum bags were gone before I got back and that was a good thing cuz if im breathing and walking there is a piece on my foot So when I hear a guy kicks the ship or life out of a low life like a few weeks back I smile world is better off without that jerk he he he imo LOL

But. would I have pulled it out to protect my property. YES.......
Would I just shoot first, NO, probably not in this case.
Only they would determine if I had to shoot.
There is no other way to shoot. You shoot to stop the threat.
I have the right to protect and defend life or property.
The scum bags determine whether you shoot or not.
If somebody were to enter the house, then yes, all bets are off
and shoot first ask questions later.......
The bike was cabled and locked to a tree in the front yard.
Now I am a firm believer in the cylinder locks as mentioned before
And Larry commented on. They are near impossible to break.
My mom went out to bring the bike inside for the night.
She had my brothers dog, so she decided to take the dog home then
come put the bike away. My brother lives behind her.
The bike was there when she left. She was gone to
his house less than 10-15 minutes. Came home and it was gone.
With the condition the bike was in, it was not taken for parts.
I'm pretty confident it was some scum sucking meth maggott puke that stole
it to sell quick for drug money. No doubt in my mind..

I love hearing about those guys that get the $hit kicked out of them.
Lord have mercy on the fkers I ever catch.
Cameras are going up on my house and will cover everything.
They will record on a 24 hour loop.
And I will have live internet access to them also.
I'm going to do something distinctive to all my quads and whatever else I can.
