Anybody know who carries Gortex gloves that could be used for riding? Or is there any glove that's really water proof?

Go to a ski shop Larry. They'll have water proof gloves.

You can go ahead and scratch me off the list. I think it would be best if I didn't go. I've obviously offended people hear that I haven't even met, so I think it would be better if I didn't ruin anyone else's fun.

Thanks for the invite though. Maybe I'll catch up with guys/gals some other time.
Josh Please don't bale on these people because U and I have had a difference in opinion....

I'm sorry that i can't get my point ANY clearer to U......
I don't think that he ever complained about YOUR driving so I think you were WAY OUT OF LINE Jim!

So, I had a load of gravel delivered today. Wanted it spread down my driveway 2-3" thick to cover the potholes and help with the mud. Not making a new driveway, just top coating the existing one. showed the driver what I wanted covered and instead of spreading 2-3" thick, dumped about 12" thick and 30' short of the end of the area I wanted covered. Since I don't have any equipment to push that around I now get to move it by shovel and rake.
Was I expecting too much to have the driver spread it down the driveway in a straight line less than a foot deep? Should I make a complaint to Springbrook? Since I don't drive a dumptruck, I don't want to make a stink if it's something I shouldn't expect too much from. But dang, if I knew I was going to have to do all that shoveling, I wouldn't have ordered 12 yds, I would have just gotten a truckload myself and filled in the potholes. If I have to move it, then I will suck it up and do it, but thought I would see if anyone had any thoughts...Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes contact them and talk to the manager. I know three guys that work there and if i told Regan what happened he would probably come unglued! I think they should have to bring out one of their dozers and fix it. Call them first thing this morning, or when you have a chance!!

Good Morning.....

Ldyjay - after reading all the post i see that you already called springbrook. I'm sorry that, that happened. I will let the guys know and tell them that they lost a good customer. Second, I know a guy that owns his own trucking company and he delivers to are house all the time. He asked how you want it spread and does just that. I'm having a problem today and i can't even remember what his number or company name is. I will ask Justin and let you know so you can use him later down the road. He lives on 84th so he is fairly close.

Josh14... Don't cancel your ride just because you two disagree. It happens all the time in life. Go out and have a good time with these great people. It will be worth it trust me!!

Everyone have a good time at the ride, and a good week next week. I will be out hunting my tail off starting Saturday morning. We leave tomorrow morning at 8 am so when i get off work today its a mad rush to the grocery store and start gathering everything i haven't put in the camper yet. Oh and please don't post that much while i'm gone, that's going to be ALOT to read.

Bill - i will give you a call when we get back in town to see if the pc3 is in. If it is i will be up to pick it up on November 8.
