Good news on two fronts today. First, and most important, my brother has confirmed the arrival of my new Warn bumper and lights. He'll bring it up this weekend and the Vinson should be fully restored and ready to ride by Sunday night (provided the other part I'm waiting on arrives).
Second, I acheived a major agreement on a bill today. I was able to get some amendments my members very much needed. We had been stonewalled for days and it looked bleak for being successful. Perserverance and persistence (e.g. being a pain in the a--) paid off and we got our amendments. The latest fire has been doused. Now, what, when and where will be the next fire???
And, the sun is shining right now (first time all day) as if the Good Lord were smiling on this successful day.
I hope each of you have had as good a day.
