This is my thought, might be alittle hardcore but sometimes, that's the way it's gotta be.
Nobody should have access to the list of members, and nobody should be accepted to the yahoo group until a current member of the PSAR has met them and can vouch for them.

This is very true. This brings me to the point of where I said "more to follow" on my last post.
I'll make this short, it is meant to inspire conversation and discussion. There will be lots of opinions.
This is a great group of people, with a core group that has been together for a while now. When you can get a group together this big, that get's along this well (as noticed by having 17 quads on the ride Sunday), there is staying power. I think we have grown to big for just this thread. I think we should look into and consider becoming a more "formal" and "organized" group. Thus, calling ourself a CLUB. I would propose we "explore" this, taking baby steps to make sure we do it right and that it will work. I think this group has the staying power to pull this off. I am not proposing we jump right into and go ***** to the wall. I would suggest we use YODADDA for the experience he has in creating the successful club they have started. We could really pick his brain. I have experience with clubs that would be identical to this one, as I 'm sure others do also. By baby steps, I mean maybe just start having informal meetings to discuss the issue and maybe come up with a plan.
I suggest making a CLUB for a couple reasons. We would be a formally recognized group, could have our own website. We could take on projects and volunteer work as WSQR do now. This would make an additional club to WSQR, showing the higher ups that the number of QUAD CLUBS is growing, there is definately more strength in numbers. I'm sure YODADDA can attest to the advantages of them forming their club, just look what they are able to accomplish in Tahuya. With our two clubs working together, I htnk we could accomplish alot, maybe inspiring other clubs to form.
This forum is a hard place to discuss this, maybe we could have a couple get togethers to toss it around.
On your mark, get set, let the opinions flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
