Directions to Shelton. The fastest way is go to Olympia on I-5 and exit to Hwy 101/Hwy 8. Exit on Hwy 101 (the Shelton/Port Angeles exit) to the right west of Olympia. Follow Hwy 101 to the third Shelton exit (Wallace-Kneeland Blvd). Right at stop sign to stop light and at stop light, right turn and the first left is Denny's. Fairgrounds are 1/4 mile past 3rd Shelton exit on Hwy 101. Turn left at fairgrounds and 1/4 mile down access road at first cross road, turn left into large dirt area. You are there.

Only took me 7 1/2 hours to get back today... with 20 minutes dinkin' around in Quincy. Logged 950 miles... It would have been shorter to go to Coos Bay and back!
Steven's pass is gonna be nasty in the morning. It was wet/slushy with snow starting to stick to the top and snowing when I came back over...

Originally posted by: gooch400 My first question is if anyone has a good map of Belfair. I have never ridden there and I think we are doing a group ride there on the 19th. Second question. Is it worth the drive to ride there? I have heard all kinds of different things about the area. Is it more for the sport quad or 4x4. We ride Evans creek and Liberty most of the time. How does it match up to those??
