I'm camping with a big group of friends at Riffe Lake outside of Mossyrock. This is an annual event. We are up to 10 spots all together in a big circular area this year. Friends, food, fishing and, oh yeah, lots of drinking.

We had a sighting in the Rainier Valley area, big red truck with no wheels and tires and the steering column ripped out, called in by a citizen to the Ford dealership here in Auburn so the SPD is going to check it out and call me.

41 hours of work in the past 3 days, I come back off vacation and they work me to death, tomorrow I'm off to Oregon for a 14 hour day [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

We just got back from the impound yard, got to see our truck [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
Passenger side front bumper to rear bumper, torn to shreds, from my teary eyed observation, it needs:

Truck bed, two doors, front fender, front bumper, rear bumper, side steps, steering column, undercarriage damage, inside trashed, wd-40 sprayed in the entire inside, multiple scratches, scuffs, grease stains inside, truck was driven through bushes, scratches from front to back, top to bottom.

Hopefully the insurance adjuster will look at it tomorrow and make his decision.

My heart is sad, I loved that truck, but it's just a material thing anyway

I agree 100% that it is just a material thing, but it is something that you loved and were going to enjoy for along time.
And it is just a shame that there are pee-ons out there that do this crap.
I'm not holding my breath, but hopefully they can get something from the truck, at least some prints.
Keep us posted and let me know any info you may find out.

Good luck on whatever the adjuster decides, you may just be better off starting over with a new truck.
