On the first rebuild I didn't notice it and I checked the water jacket on my old cylinder and I don't see anything that looks like the putty.

 

Looking at it closer it does look like assembly lube, maybe with the big old huge amount of Hp increase[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] from the first rebuild it made it sling around more than before.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

Did someone else build the engine, or did you do it?

 

It was me. I put lube on the crank and wrist pin but didn't touch the water pump.

 

Glad you're making the ride, I'll be in a Red, 96 Ford Bronco, two quad tandem trailer, blue Raptor.

 

Can't wait to see the roost in the mud holes from 11000 rpms

Well we brought DJ's new ride home last night damn it's lookin' GOOOOODDDD we'll see how it does now LOL, sure sounds better w/ the pipe packed [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] So he's now decided he is just going to run the 400 ONLY, made me upset BUT I see where he's coming from I guess LOL, he wants to focus on ONE class for now!! I told Ron to ride mine in the 250-350 class & bang tires w/ Frankie Joe & Rusty heeheehee but then again he IS THE MAIN $$ MAKER it would suck if he hurt himself!!
