Not to be too much of a d!ck... Just wouldn't know how to explain it better than the owner's manual. It didn't take an owner's manual to figure out where to put the "pin"... I used a philips screw driver and put it in the only place that looked like it would go... not rocket science. Two bolts on the carrier put the "pin" in and rock it fwd or backwards... Similar to the scrammy except you don't have to loosen up the brake mount. I think he just needs to look closer... or take the parking brake off.
