Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

MB you have a PM!

I know this has been digusted before but i'm very confused on this. In 2002 Justin and I went down to Coos bay. After reading over alot of sites they where saying that we needed a "oregon permit". They even made us buy one for my truck. We did purchase permits for the atv's as well. But then last year when we went down to Winchester Bay Joel said that we did NOT need the permit. We are going down to Winchester on the 23rd. We will be sand camping and i'm wondering if we need this permit? Is it just coos bay that we need it for? Or is the washington tag's good for oregon as well. I don't want to get in a match with the rangers.

I thought that ATV's registered in WA don't need Oregon permits but your tow vehicle would need one if you drove it on the sand. That is why I got a sticker for my Grand Cherokee.

6 tries,,,and i need a new life??? I'll take your word for it, on the heroin thing...

Since I have very bad reactions to narcotics of any kind I wouldn't really know, except I do know the only more addictive thing than heroin is nicotine.

This is correct

If you want to drive your vehicle out in the sand, you DO need one of the OHV permits.
WA tabs are good for the quads

My understanding is: quads licenced in Washington are OK in Oregon.
If you are sand camping, the tow vehicle needs an Oregon tag to be on the sand (no Wa equivalant)

confirm w/nwcutie or 2mnytoys, they spend alot of time down there

and remember, Oregon Tags are good for 2 years

Hey Bill,

I'm running pre-mix @ 32:1, which was recommended by others.

<u>Here is how our "pretty much stock" LT is set up....</u>
No motor mods yet, but a couple minor ones upcoming.
Yep DC'd the injection pump

Ported stock size Carb with 115 and 20 jets. (I just did this yesterday to see how it runs, it seems to run faster. But if it doesn't work out, I don't know enough yet tweak it. Would have no idea where to start or what to change, except maybe the jetting)

4 rollers in front clutch
Rear clutch shoes cut down to 185 grams, but could go a little lighter.
Works shocks
3" extenders in the front with 16x6.5x8 tires
1.5" spacers in the rear with 18x6.5x8 tires. Will go to 16x6.5x8 when I change sprockets

<u>Upcoming stuff</u>
428 sizes sprockets with 13/14 or 15 front and 26 Rear, with #40 chain....
Shave the head .030
Uni Filter
??????????

Any questions let me know. I have no idea what I'm doing though, hehehehe
It's all the great info I've got from guys on here in the Kids section, and trial and error.
