Hey all. I have a tech question. My friend has a Baddger 80 that idles fine, but when you give it any gas it dies out. He is bringing it over and I am going to take the carb of and blow it out and check the float.

Anyone run into this before???

Congrat's on the new little girl. Mine is 2 1/2 now and she is the best thing to EVER happen to me.....
Is the Badger 80 a 2 stroke? If it is, check the reeds.
If it's not a 2 stroke, clean out all the jets.

For those that can't make it to the hospital to see Jolene and Carissa. Her hospital picture should be online tomorrow. I just checked and they did the 11th today. Baby link Go to WEb Nursery which is on the right hand side column. Another window will pop up and just hit Show all babies. Make sure you go the right picture. I just went on there and somebody made a comment but on the wrong baby. LOL Oops.

Tp does Jolene get to come home today?? I hope she is getting some rest in the hospital. Man she looked tired. Don't forget the carseat when you go back to the hospital!!! And get the heat going in the house.

If it's not a 2 stroke, clean out all the jets.

If it is a 2 stroke and idles fine, it isn't the reeds, first thing reed affect is idle. Sounds like crap partially plugging the main jet or the passages. Drain the carb into a clear glass jar and see how much crap and water is in it, does it even smell like gas?. Pull the carb keeping it up right if possible so that any dirt will stay at the bottom of the bowl. I like to use WD-40 to squirt thru all the passages to make sure they are clear. Never hurts to put fresh fuel in the tank as old gas can cause this problem too. Bad spark plug can be a problem and are cheap to replace and should be done once a year anyway.

Hey all, any of you Yamaha owners have any serviceable 10' wheels you want to sell or get rid of?
I need a set to put some 22' x 10' flat track type rear tires on. There only going to be used for the dyno so I dont need anything purdy I hate to buy new wheels for something that's only going to be used once in a great while.
