Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Morning PSAR. It's my Friday. YEAH! Gonna go home and try to finish up my quad. SHHH, don't say that too loud. I still have to figure out why I have so many extra nuts and bolts and where they go. Hoping they don't belong in the middle of everything that I no longer have access to.

Everyone have a great day.

Hey DM,

GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear how much fun you guys had, and of course how well all of you did.
This is a great family sport, and more fun than I ever thought.
Give the kids a pat on the back from us for a Great Job
And also to you and Ron

MB and BBBTATS.........
Same to you guys
It's so cool to hear how the lil guys are doing......
I'd give anything to have seen the show the lil guy gave the other day.......
That is so cool to hear, I can only imagine how fun it was and how much you guys laughed..
Isn't that what this is all about Great Family times........
That is the reason that makes this so much fun.........

Everybody else out here that is also racing and having a great time, wahoooooooo.
This sport needs support, and this group is definately a huge contributor to that support.
When PSAR shows up to the track (or the trail/dunes for that matter), there is a huge positive presence.
A great influence and positive support/exposure for for this sport.
I know the presence of members from this group leaves a positive impression wherever we go

I have no logical answer, the valley is flooded, but no standing water up on our little hill.
I'm told it has to do with the layer of clay under the surface that makes the water run off the top of it rather than letting the water soak down thru it and my basement at the back (uphill side) extends down into the clay. But it is weird for sure.

systems that would otherwise work fine in this climate,,,,might potentially show their weaknesses ofter 29 days of stiff rain

do you have a perimeter drain? How is the grading (away from or towards) around you house? do you have any cleanouts,,,,and are they clean?

then again,,,it may just be another old age problem

This year isn't so bad, back in the '96 when Seattle got 33 days of measurable rain, we had 120 days straight of measurable rain (over 128") here and it ran 3 to 5" deep for weeks. The house was built in the late '40's when there were no rules. The only drain in a pipe in the rock driveway behind the house the dumps out onto the lawn on the side of the house and it is only 1 1/2" and backs up pretty easy. As to the steepness of the grade. I'll post a pic to give you and idea of how steep the sucker is. Oh yeah, the county won't plow or sand it and the 4X4 guys don't try it more than once, none ever made it either, my quad will do it through mine and the neighbors yards, but not on the paved road. I just stayed home when it snowed or iced rather than to even try walking (?), more like slippin' and slidin' down to the bottom if I parked at the bottom before the stuff hit. The wife will retire soon and we will move to the east side of the mountains down in Oregon. A whole lot drier there.
