Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

SoXx, it was nice to meet you at the pizza feed. Maybe we'll all just have to ride a little more on your side of the state to hook up and go riding.

Loki and Raptorchick, Do you have an updated newsletter?

It looks like I will have to wait till next year to pick up a quad for the mrs. gotta get the important stuff done first(paint and new roof for the house, new car for the Mrs). I wish I could go to Moses, but gotta work. I am up for the next ride to Rock candy though.

My dang work computer will not let me into yahoo, Dang firewalls.

Hope things go good for you Soxx. Hope to ride with you some day, Gotta do the right things first so you can play right later.

Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hey boys and girls, active little forum ya got here? I've been lurking a while, figured I'd introduce myself and pick your brains. I live in Snohomish, and we've got some land in the mountains near Leavenworth we play on in the summer. I've been dirtbiking a while, and last summer we picked up a used Kawasaki quad for the kids (90cc maybe?). They've been having a blast on it, so for Xmass I got the family a new Honda Recon. Now between quads and bikes we're set up for some family fun on the land!

Last couple of weekends my daughter and I have been playing on the quads (I had no idea these things were such a blast in the snow!). Yesterday we were up at Reiter Pit slopping through the mud and slush, and last weekend we were at a place she calls P-5 by Granite Falls zipping through fresh snow.

Question: are there any places to ride nearby that aren't covered in snow? I'd like to go out with the whole family, but that means bikes and quads, and bikes don't do so well in the snow! Hows Walker Valley, is it covered in snow? Any other local areas that would be good?

Thanks, see ya around!

Welcome Quadshot!!

I frequent Rieter pit, and have been to Granite Falls. The snow should be gone by now (al least down low).

QuadShot
Wellcome,
I ride at Walker every sunday. The snow was only at the higher elevations yesterday. It's a good place for both bikes and quads. Lots of smooth rodes for the kids, but also some tricky stuff for better and more experienced riders. Checkout my pic's.

Hey RealtorRider, I'm Paddleyourowncanoe. Between this forum and the PSAR group, looks like a great way to get connected with the quad community around here. Please approve me into PSAR, pleeeeeeeez! I promise I'll be a good boy (maybe)!

I haven't been publishing anything recently. I want to change the format of the newsletter.
I have been tossing the idea around for a while of upgrading it to a web-based magazine type layout and would allow readers to contribute articles, letters, reviews and such. If I do decide to go this route, it is going to take some time to set up.

BTW, it was good to meet you at the pizza feed, maybe next time Loki and I will get a chance to talk to you a bit more.
